Winnie is doing so much better with letting me groom her!! We have all the tangles out and I have been brushing her twice a day...in the mornings she is a little more annoyed with me than in the evenings...but I'm doing it anyway! I will admit that part of the problem was me....she is just so cute and I was spoiling her. She would say I don't wanna be brushed and I would let her go!! lesson learned! She still will not leave the clip or band in her hair alone...so I put it up leave it in for a while, or until she gets it part way out and then I take it out. She has such a great personality though! I was wondering...when I brought her home the breeder had her bottom shaved...around the "area" and her pants (not sure if thats the same term with yorkies as it is with huskys) but the back of her legs in other words. Should I continue to do this? She has a tendency to run before she's done...and then sits...and the poo smooshes into her hair...so I am thinking yes...but is this something bad if I want to grow her hair into a full/semi full coat?
