That should be a red flag if the AKC is the only reputable breeder in the US and it's the only way to know for the most part that you are getting a pure yorkie. In my opinion I would not chose this breeder and no shots is especially not good if you have a dog at home that could be carrying something they are vaccinated for but the pup is not like Parvo and could give that to the pup.
