Yorkiemom1: As soon as I stop crying, I'll respond to your post! You put everything in perspective for me. Your last post told me what I should be doing and what I owe my senior. My senior is very special to me because I rescued her from a Yorkie puppy mill where she was caged almost 24 hrs a day. She's very shy, not agressive, not people friendly (other than with me), never played with a ball and really is very quiet. She had a rough start in life as a source of income for someone who had no interest in her as a dog but was only interested in how much money she could produce. Some folks might even say that she has no personality but she's still special to me and I owe her the best that I can offer her for the few years that she has left with me.

I began crating her when I leave home now and I watch the pack much more closely and I keep her near me when I am at home. Thanks to all of you that responded to my post. I feel so much better already because I feel like I have a plan of action to help me. I'll keep you all posted on our progress!
