His dad had health problems so he was taken care of by the Yorkie Rescue.

This is the first time I've ever adopted from a Rescue. Two of my other Yorkies were adopted at about 8 weeks and the other at 4 months. They all led long lives and were such important parts of our lives. Sean will be, too, I'm sure.

I think it's wonderful that people have set up the Rescue groups with such high standards. I had to fill out a comprehensive application, have a phone interview, and a home inspection. All immunizations are completed prior to adoption and health records are provided.

How old was your guy/gal when adopted? Any special advice you can share with me?
