You have a good idea with the pee pad scent. Maybe you could rub the pad in some of your dogs pee when they pee outside and put that pad in the spot where you want them to pee inside for Buster this is in the bathroom. I went for the reverse and he was first pad trained and then we started going outside but that was easier because there other dogs pee smells to encourage him to go out there. Good luck Buster took a while
