Thank you for the kind words about my babies.*** They all had previous homes but are the loves of my life now.
I do think it depends greatly on the dogs and not necessarily the breeds.* Some are great together and some just do not like each other. Shih Tzu seem to have a very happy personality. Grooming needs are different if you grow out the Shih Tzu coat vs the long Yorkie coat.* it takes me twice as long for the Shih Tzu coat although I may just be not the greatest at it.* LOL
If you can give a little lost soul a new home...wonderful. if you find a great breeder...super. some may have older pups or young adults, too...also great. all my Yorkie babies were at least 14 months old when they came to live with me.
Honey Bun sounds absolutely precious, and I just know you will find the baby that wants to be yours.
