6 lbs, I think, is a great weight.
I worried a lot about Teddy being so little because my other yorkies were around 6lbs so having one half that size seems very dramatic in terms of adapting to the extra care I feel was required (whether or not it is required doesn't matter...it was the feeling!!).
Plus, my vet didn't want to neuter him or take any extra teeth out due to his weight being under 4 lbs so now that he's hit this landmark I will feel better about him going under anaesthesia if needed.
