Right now to the vet! First you always take your new pup in for a full exam by your vet with-in 48hrs of receiving the puppy. This will for one thing validate any health warranty you have.

There are a whole lot of things that can cause the cough, but he needs a vet to tell you what it is in his case. As well a full physical exam should be done as well as fecal and urine analysis.
