Wainscoting isn't that hard! Do it! It totally changes the look of a room. Even just painting and putting up a chair rail really adds interest. I'm almost done with my room. Baseboards are back on. I had to sand and repaint ALL of them bc the builders were so sloppy!!!
I'm going to hold off on crown moulding for a bit for now. Gotta do my cork board (got the wood for it yesterday), just gotta look for a trim to make a frame. Then an ambitious project: I'm going to turn my sliding closet doors into a hidden bookcase folding closet door. Like this:
