She's a cutie!! She'll get used to it, just gotta keep at it. If you do bands, try to do them a little loose so it doesn't pull her hair. That'll def. make it harder for her to get used to it.

What I do is use the tiny little plastic bands they sell at Walmart in the hair section- you can get like 500 of them for $3. Stretch it with your fingers a little bit and when you go to put Penny's hair in the band, put the band on and then slide it up her hair a little bit so it's not sitting right at her roots and pulling.

Or you can get the little clippy bows for dogs. Those are nice cuz it's a quick way of getting their hair up, but without a band in first, they do tend to slide out more.

Just keep at it, she'll get the hang of it!
