 Scoop, the Yorkie Mix Rescue
On April 4th, 2014, a beautiful puppy was born into this world. It’s hard to believe but this little guy was abandoned and left to fend for himself. He put up a fight and made his way from Tennessee to Diane’s Discount Pet Supplies & Adoption Center in Pottstown, PA with the help of neighbors and shelter workers. On June 1, 2014, my husband and I drove up to Pottstown to meet this little guy and his brothers and sisters. We were torn between which one to adopt and waited for over three and half hours to get to hold him. Once we had him in our arms, we knew he was the one. We were sad to leave his siblings behind (we would have adopted all of them if we could have…), but all siblings were adopted into loving families within just a few days! We named him Scoop and he has stolen our hearts.

Breed: Yorkie Mix (his mom is a yorkie, father is unknown)
Current Age: 5 months (we got him at 8 weeks)
Size: 3 pounds
Favorite things to do: Play, chew, sleep, eat, poop, give kisses, be adorable…
Favorite memory so far: Meeting so many family and friends and playing with his cousins, uncles and aunts!
