I had a thread earlier about play fighting, but after doing some more research I have some further questions. I brought home Parker (Shih Tzu) a couple days ago. He is 9 1/2 weeks old. Lexi (8 1/2 months old)immediately wanted to play with him, but I was starting to get concerned with how she was playing. Sometimes they play great and even will drink out of the same water bowl at the same time with no problems. But while playing Lexi will growl and jump on Parker, and even when Parker submits by rolling or tries to get away, Lexi will not stop and will sometimes growl even louder. I read mixed things online about this and the vet just said to break them up if things seem to be getting out of control. I'm just worried that if this continues I will never be able to leave them together alone in the same room. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of behavior? I need help!
