Yes Debbie is a great breeder. Karen recommended the friend that I know to Debbie. Debbie's price range is around $1500 and up however so I'm not sure if it's in the OP's price range or not.
Carroll Hale from Formosa Yorkies (formosayorkies.com) is also praised pretty highly here on YT.
Debbie, Carroll, and Karen are all from Eugene, OR I believe, which is about 2 hrs away from Portland.
