While not every-one has this option, we encourage our dogs, to go in our backyard, before we walk them; but we also carry poo bags as well. And when I remember paper towels, as we have one dog, that can have some diarrehea on walks, or very loose stools.
We also try to have the dogs use the boulevard sidewalk area, rather than front lawns to go poo on.
