I put him back on BB and they are firming back up....slowly. I wanted to change him to Orijen. I gave it about a week and they weren't firming up. Then a lady at the pet store suggested Holistic Select. I tried that for about 2 weeks and they were still too mushy but not diarrhea. And that is why I put him back on BB. But I read all this stuff online about BB and about how great Orijen is and I wanted him to be on that. And he really loves it and how soft they are. But I don't want to be trying to pick up diarrhea all the time. Plus he eats his poop, so he licks up what I don't get the next time we go out. His stomach is unbelievably sensitive. I tried the ground turkey and pumpkin Thursday night through Friday night and he threw up the turkey twice on Friday. I never give him people food or anything, he just can't stomach it. (he's 8 months) Oh, but we walk 3 miles a day, so I figured he would benefit from the high protein. But maybe he just can't handle it? |
