I use Diamondback Pharmacy for one of Ralphie's medicines, but it's really expensive, fortunately, it’s not a pill he needs daily, but just on occasion. I mean they are actually mixing the medicine that is not available in a pill form, not just making a tasty pill, although he does love it. I found the thing that works best for me is to melt a tiny bit of cheese, mozzarella works well because of the low melting point, but you could use any cheese Callie loves. Form it over the pill and allow to cool. If I use cream cheese or peanut butter some dogs will lick it off, but with the cheese method they swallow it whole without even chewing. You could make up a week’s worth and keep in refrigerator. |
