I've always said that anything that gives me an even 1% increase in a chance to get my lost or stolen baby back - sign Tibbe up for it. Tibbe's had his since he was 9 1/2 mos. old and he's now 7 and never turned a hair after it was placed.
I had to be sure I went and updated the chip website with correct contact and vet info and redo it after Hurricane Sandy when the chip website lost some data and apparently their system restore didn't work properly. But just anything I can do to increase his potential return to me, I'll take those odds. However small they might be, I see it as better than w/out them.
