I went through that once…got up because I heard a noise and thought someone was knocking at my door. I had been watching tv and eating dinner in the family room. Totally nerve wracking and the little bugger looked at me so proud of his 'capturing' this 'snack' I don't think I slept a wink that night and it was a crazy snow stormy night with the Emergency Vet more than 30 miles in very little visibility on the roads. All ended well but it was a good lesson learned. |
