Hi everyone. We have had Wallee's adopted sister (Summer) here for almost 2 months now. Wallee had a playmate stay here with us for almost a month just before Summer came (Anyah). He and Anyah played constantly so I was sure he would do well with a sister. To date, the only interaction he has with her is when he is scolding her for silly little things like running around having fun.
Today we met another little dog on our walk and true to her form, Summer wagged her tail and greeted the dog with a lick on his face. She then went into a play stance and was squealing trying to get this dog to play. When we greet other dogs, I have to let them greet one at a time as Wallee will bump Summer and growl at her if she gets in there the same time as him.
I could see today that Summer would love to play but it seems Wallee wants to keep ger stifled. He still gets plenty of play time on the floor with daddy while Summer lays with me on the couch so his nose should not be out of joint.
Will he ever stop behaving like a brat and accept her?
