It's 94 degrees here now and I'm losing hope. NFL football starts tonight but I'm beginning to wonder if fall is on its way at all. Even though this has been a "mild" Texas summer there should be a limit on how many days cowboys 'n girls have to put up with over 90 degree temps!!!. wah, I want cool air, falling leaves, to hear the sounds of the high school band practicing for Friday's game wafting through the air early in the mornings, to wear a rust-colored sweater, gray wool slacks and knee-length boots not the constant sound of lawn-mowers and everybody in eternal sunglasses, shorts and tank or crop-tops !!! Please, Mother Nature!!! Cut us some slack!
