I think it's unfair for her to be taken from all she knows and then put in a crate in a scary new place in a room all by herself. I think her crate needs to be in your bedroom where she can see you. Getting a new puppy is like getting a new baby. You have to be prepared to not get much sleep for awhile. She may do great or it may take a few days but I think it would not be very nice to put her in a different room.
