I don't think she will be confused. When we got Lexi we would have the crate out in the living room during the day for when we couldn't supervise her and then we would just bring the crate into the bedroom at night. Now that she is potty trained I bought a second larger crate for the living room for her to play in and when I need to keep her away from something (furniture delivery, etc) and the one in the bedroom stays there for bedtime.
