Happy to hear your little girl is doing well and not showing any adverse reactions.

My father has dropped a couple of coffee beans and sent me into a panic. My dogs also find dangerous edibles on our walks like chocolate, candies, bones. I am not a great trainer, but I managed to teach my boys to "drop it" and "leave it". They understand other phrases and react to my fear, which is not advisable by trainers and inconsistent, but it works for us.

The most important thing is not to inadvertently train to your pup to enjoy the chase when she gets her paws on something naughty. Max loves the chase.

My boys have learned "you don't want that" or "that is bad for you" means leave it alone.

Work on training and exchanging for acceptable things and it might help avoid an emergency in the future.
