You could try interrupting the behavior a bit, ie the barking, but they'll still work some things out on their own. What I find w/ my 3 is Pfeiffer is not dominant at all, whereas Wylie and Marcel have worked out being dominant in different areas. Wylie was most dominant at one point, but then little Marcel started to take over some areas...which I guess was just natural. They seem to work things out on their own pretty well.
