I second Taylor's thought to see if you can watch the mom while she is away.

If this is the moms 4th litter can you ask her if there is someone who has a puppy from the previous litter that you might know. This way you will get an idea what your pup will look like as he grows up. (also give you an idea if this has been happened with other litters)

I wish you the best and hope to see pictures of your little one as he grows up. Believe me folks on here are not snipping at you. They are just concerned for this little ones health.
