Dumb question who is taking care of the breeder dogs while she is away. Could they possibly take on the pup also till it's ready to meet the outside world. 6 and a half weeks is pretty tiny. even if you could get them to keep with mom for a week or two more.

Great idea....but I can promise you, there are a TON of excuses already formulated to negate this idea! She is dumping these babies and that is the bottom line. She has absolutely NO intention of doing one thing for this puppy's best interest or the new owner....not now, not in the future.
