I've gotten comments joking about how I talk to Billi like she's my child, but for the most part people aren't rude about it. Why would they be? Doesn't it take more effort to be rude/mean anyway??

This doesnt bother me! He is right....I DO talk to my babies all day long, just like they are kids! I know very well they understand me and most of them grunt, snuff, whine, etc, trying so very hard to communicate....of course, we can read what they are saying by looking in those adoring eyes! Truth doesnt bother me, just when people lie about what they think they are seeing or hearing! What he said is true!
