Personally, I wouldn't take the pup or support the breeder. I know you feel like you have to rescue this dog, but this breeder is going to keep doing this to animals if you support her. I already supported an unethical breeder and will never do it again.

I know you already have your heart set on him, but he's going to come with a lot more responsibility and potential heartache than a pup from a reputable breeder would.
