He is definitely a cutie. My Brandi had huge ears too but it was only noticeble when her hair was cut like his. Once the hair grew back her ears didn't look so big.
As for underweight, make sure there isn't any underlying illnesses. Brandi was so small but she was in liver failure and had other issues so if it hasn't already be done, be sure to get a thorough check up.
