First of all, Katie is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! Her coat is so shiny and gorgeous!
Teddy has a very cottony coat so I just assumed he's stay gray on his head because of it but I guess we never know for sure. I wouldn't have thought your Katie would have changed so drastically so I'm a poor judge of these things!
This is the first Yorkie I have had from a puppy. My other two I had from about the age of three and up so I never asked as many questions about coat changes.
