I'm like Judy but am such a fresh-bread addict I'm too afraid I would eat nothing but a fresh loaf of homemade bread each meal! Mmmmmm. The smell of bread baking in the kitchen has always sent me to heaven. I used to bake bread at home all of the time but finally just got tired of all the work and kneading and rising and on and on. But then came bread machines and I wanted one ASAP. Then I thought about what it would be like to have such an easy way to have fresh-bread all the time and wondered if that would be a smart or healthy thing for me. Finally, I decided I just cannot have one - I guess like an alcohol addict who couldn't quite manage to have a distillery machine in the back yard to use only occasionally to make a pint. I'm too afraid I would live only on freshly-baked, heavenly smelling and tasting homemade bread for the rest of my life.

But if you are not a fresh-bread addict, I'd get one. They are ease itself compared to the time and work in homemade bread baking the old-fashioned way.
