The ones that look like rice sound like tapeworms to me and those don't always show up in a fecal float but you can see them in the stool. Tapeworms are flat and the size of rice. As gross as it sounds, I would probably dig through the stool sample. If he has tapeworms, unless you've dewormed recently, they should be moving. If you've dewormed him, you should still be able to see them but they'll be dead and dried out. I'm not sure about the white dots.
