 Gross, but a question about some poo.
Sheldon has always had very consistent poop. Solid, brown, healthy poo. He eats Royal Canin Extra Small Puppy formula kibble and then I give him small amounts of higher quality canned food every now and then (a few times a week) as a treat. Generally, he tolerates it well and his poop stays consistent. He is a good eater, so I only give it occasionally, as to not discourage him from eating his kibble.
The other day, however, I gave him a salmon based canned food (honestly can't even remember the brand, unfortunately, but it was a higher-end, grain free). For a couple of days, he pooped a light tan, or beige color, but still solid and nearly odorless. I stopped feeding it and went back to things I know he tolerated well, and his poo returned to normal.
Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I'm nervous about the change in color, even just brief. It was probably just the food, yes? |
