I have 2 boys and 1 girl and I'd say the boys are more affectionate - and I've heard this from many other people as well. The boys are a bit more cuddly, especially my Marcel who could be held/cuddled all day long! It's not that my girl isn't affectionate, but it's more on her terms/when she feels like it.

As far as the breeder you're looking at - that looks like a Puppy Mill to me, so I'd stay far far away from that one.
