Where I come from quality yorkies are hard to get and you are at the mercy of the breeders. My last go round, I called around for six months to try and find a female. I ended up purchasing one from a very reputable breeder down south.
What I know know is that the bile acid test NEEDS to be done BEFORE purchasing a puppy. I got a dog that has liver disease. I knew it was important before but didn't realize that I should have insisted and offered to pay for it myself.
It is true. I shouldn't have purchased the dog or completed the transaction but I thought the breeder was ethical and honorable. When you see the puppies, you fall in love with them. I also really wanted a new yorkie. Shame on me.
