Default Potty Training inside and out!

I saw your question, and wanted to comment here. Is your place to walk your dog in an area where other dogs urinate? Maybe you can use your balcony until she is older and has her shots. I talk to hundreds of people that set up something on their balcony.

Also, these days, so many dogs have both indoor and outdoor bathrooms. Some dogs with little bladders get infections and kidney stones from having to hold their urine. This article from holistic healthy pets also has some great recipes : )

If you are away extended hours, or live in a place with bad winters, you may want to consider allowing her both options. Even puppy pads are better then your carpet!
