There is also the "Gentle Leader" which if they make it small enough would give no pull on trachea or chest at all. They work wonders for pullers also. I have not tried that one on my yorkie, but my other two dogs pretty much hate it but still accept it if going on a walk. Not sure if they dislike the control it gives the walker or if it's uncomfortable across their muzzle. I prefer to use this one on my large dog when I walk them alone since it really gives me better control when he gets overexcited as we pass certain dogs. |
