She may be anxious and not eating, or she may not want food because of her disease and/ or the meds she is on. If this is in fact the definitive diagnosis she will get over it soon after the care she is getting in the hospital. So try not to get stressed, she will be fine!
Is it possible that what she ate that caused the obstruction set off the Pancreatitis, or is it just coincidental?
It is safer for her to be monitored and kept hydrated for another day, and then hopefully she will be well when you bring her home. Praying she is on the right path to health and that she comes home a happy girl again.
Aww this makes me feel better. Thank you. I know, I keep searching for answers because this all happened so fast and it's all so confusing to me and I just want it to make sense. I'm beginning to accept that it may not ever make sense, just one of those things. I'm sure it has all been a perfect storm of circumstances to bring on the pancreatitis. Now that I have seen it's ugly face, I'll never forget it.
