I would also suggest human baby food (without ingredients that aren't good of course, like onions, etc.) or puree' meats and veggies in such cases. My girl loves some chicken puree' in chicken broth baby food on occasions. When she get's spayed or loses her baby teeth I plan to have her eat some baby/puree' foods in the beginning.
