 Crating new puppy while out
I'm pretty much prepared to bring the new puppy home in a couple weeks, but there is still one thing I'm not quite sure about. When I first got Lexi and was potty training I would crate her while out (never more that 1-2 hours) until she was potty trained. Now she has a large area downstairs while we are out. I plan on following the same routine with the new puppy since it seemed to work well, but when we leave them at home, should I leave the new puppy upstairs in the crate with Lexi downstairs OR can I put the puppy in the crate downstairs in the area that Lexi is so that can see each other although they can not play together? Just not sure if they would be more upset being so close, but not able to play and would just be better off in different areas of the house. |
