Will she let you press on it, palpate it? That's one way to figure out if there is any tenderness...of course, be careful as you don't want to get bit if it hurts her. I haven't heard of a tooth growing in sideways like this, but I think it could possibly be a problem. It doesn't sound urgent, per se, but perhaps have it checked out the next time you're at the vet?
