Pups most certainly do have allergies, it is rare but true. Alfie has suffered from allergies since about 3 months, we were at the vet every week and they too said he was too young. We referred ourselves to a vet dermatologist and he has been through several different meds, currently mostly under control with Apoquel and Piriton.
Alfie was almost totally bald on both hips with regular rash patches by the time he was 4 months.
There should be pics in my albums, I would advise you to see another vet or find a vet derm.
