As others noted above, a hunched back is not necessarily a medical problem, but the Yorkie standard (the ideal) is for a straight topline. Yorkie exhibitors will sometimes say that a dog's topline is so beautifully straight, they could serve tea on it.
The straightness of a topline also affects movement, which is one of the things judged in Yorkie conformation.
