Lol it did that to me too at first!! I actually ended up skipping over a lot of the first season because I just wasn't sure if the show was for me or not.
I watched a few of what I googled were the "Best eps" and decided to give it more of a chance and became hooked. Not saying you will end up liking it- you may not! But if you want to check out a REALLY good ep, check out some of these:

My favs were 'House's Head' and 'Wilson's Heart' and 'Broken' (season 6)
In the first season, 'Three Stories' and second season 'Autopsy'
'Help Me' from Season 6 was great/action packed.
Most emotional ep was 'The C Word' from the last season.
MY fav part of the show was probably the Wilson/House bromance. And there wasn't a ton of it in the first season. I think the show def got better.
