I don't think it will make it worse but if you are worried you should ask your vet. Not neutering can cause marking all over the house, if he smells a female in heat even a mile away he can hurt himself getting to her ( there have been many horrible story's of male dogs dying or getting very hurt trying to get to a female in heat) and run off and get lost, testicular cancer, problems with other males dogs especially if there not fixed, and sense it's very easy to tell if a male is fixed or not and sense yorkies are the top stolen breed someone could steal him and use him or sell him to a puppy mill, it also becomes partly your responsibility if he accidently mates with a female. My yorkie has slight collapsing trachea and has had 4 surgerys and never any issues. My moms yorkie has worse ct and had a dental with no problems.
