Yikes, I wouldn't even have known how to respond to them, my jaw was on the floor just reading that. Karen's right, you just can't figure some people out and they prolly really did think that was a good solution. I couldn't imagine walking away from Billi like that, even worse is how that made their dog feel.
To just abandon them? Sheesh, how sad.
