I had my pup with me at an outdoor event last night, lots of attention from Yorkie lovers. One couple came up to me, made over Ali and told me they used to have a Yorkie. I felt bad for them for a minute until they explained that he was 14 and they left him with the new renters when they moved away
They felt he would be better off keeping things the same with his doggie door etc. especially moving to a colder area with snow and no backyard.
Seriously?
I felt so sad, can't imagine how you make that kind of decision. I guess I am projecting. I would have done anything to have my Shelby for that many years. Her heart would have been broken if I left her behind, just as mind was when she "left" me.
