Around 1 year seems to be most commonly recommended for switching from puppy to adult foods. You could switch earlier but it certainly wouldn't hurt to feed puppy food for longer either. Puppy formulas tend to have slightly higher protein/fat content and calories than adult formulas and might also have smaller kibble sizes which are things to consider.

I switched Toki maybe around 7 months to an all life stages food (appropriate for puppies and adults as well as comparable nutritionally to the puppy food I transitioned her from). And I transitioned Teddy to an ALS formula as well when we brought him home at 10 months...no issues with either one
