My personal opinion would be to wait another few months. My little one is 9 mths old and 2 lbs 5 oz and he has not been neutered yet because of his size. However, we have a vet appt on Tues to go back over this issue and to see when he can be neutered. I am the one who is very worried about the anesthesia but I believe my vet will be fine now with his weight. He is going to run all the tests needed before he does it, just to be on the safe side.
