Any hot tips to get him out of the "just lay down like a stubborn kitty" phase?

When I got Lexi at 13 wks she hated the harness too. She would try to bite the harness and me every time I tried to put it on. So I decided to start making her wear it all day to get used to it. I would put it on her in the morning, and only take it off if she was left alone at home and then take it off at night. It took a while, but eventually she stopped fighting me so I didn't make her wear it all day after that.
